Jeff Abbott

Jeff Abbott is the nationally bestselling, award-winning author of six novels of mystery and suspense. His novels have been called "exciting, shrewd, and beautifully crafted" (Chicago Tribune), "fresh, original…intricately woven" (Publishers' Weekly), and "excellent" (South Florida Sun-Sentinel).

His novels include the USA Today bestseller and Anthony Award nominee, A Kiss Gone Bad; the Agatha and Macavity Award winner, Do Unto Others; The Only Good Yankee; Promises of Home; and Distant Blood. Black Jack Point was released in September, 2002 by NAL, a division of Penguin, and has been nominated for an Edgar Award. Cut and Run was released by NAL in November 2003. Panic, Abbott's first hardcover thriller, was released by Dutton in August 2005.

A fifth-generation Texan, he spent his childhood in Austin and Dallas with parents and grandparents who loved to tell stories.

He lives in Austin with his wife and two sons.
