Alison Anderson is the author of two novels, Hidden Latitudes and Darwin's Wink. Her numerous translations from the French include Onitsha by JMG Le Clézio and The History of the Surrealist Movement by Gérard Durozoi. She received an NEA grant in 2004 for her translation of works by contemporary author Christian Bobin. She lives in Northern California.
